We are squeezing a lot of "only in America" fun into this summer and the latest was hitting the Bristol Renaissance Faire with Bibi.  It was a girls only last hurrah before we head off to Iowa.  I have not been in years and it is much bigger now (more expensive too yikes!) but the funny accents, jugglers, story telling, turkey legs for eating, crazy costumes, and excuse to dress up (or in WAY too little clothing...scarier than the executioner!) still remains the same.....
Here is our day enjoying two little girls discover the magic of the fair....

we met a former acting student of my mom's debuting his new role as duke or king or something...

we saw knights dueling....

we rode a swinging ship....

saw dragons.......

watched the Queen make her entrance standing next to "the most beautiful-est fairy ever"

and then got to actually meet her!!

helped the troll and her friends find who stole the loot....

a rode a pony to cap off the afternoon of magical adventure and sunburnt faces.

I beseech ye if thou canst to ponder a more fullsome day for two young maidens? methinks there is nary.
A sweaty but splendid day at the fair..
