I remember someone once telling us that you can tell how long someone has lived in Africa by how they respond to bugs in their food: Only been here a few months you throw out the entire drink because you spot a bug in the glass, been here a while you pick out said critter and continue enjoying your drink, been here a LONG while and you see said dudu, weigh your options and decide to just drink the sucker.
This morning while working out I saw a couple bugs in my water glass and chose the third option because just drinking the bugs seemed way easier than trying to get more filtered water, ice, a clean cup, etc. Then I remembered this. Yep, I guess we have been here a while.

Evy's fascination with all things "dudu" is out of control. It is by far her favorite word and pretty much every time she sees a bug of any size or shape she repeatedly yells "dudu dudu" until we acknowledge that she is indeed correct. I must say that the word dudu or wadudu for many is a far superior word to our insect or bug. It is pretty fun to say! She also has decided all dudus' stink as she holds her nose and then waves her little hand to drive the point home. I finally got a video of her dudu antics...well that and some ridiculous jumping.....
